12v Wire and Cable Lighting System
There is no limit to the distance our systems can run with the products we have produced, and with careful planning it is possible to have an endless amount of lights on one system. Our Wire and Cable Lighting systems are bespoke and of the highest quality, we do not supply cheap ready made kits from China as they have proved problematic in the past. Please click the image on the left for an idea of how to configure your Wire Lighting System. Don't forget you will then require a 12 Volt Toroidal Transformer, and remember to allow the wire from the transformer to your wire span, so if your transformer is 1m away you will require another 2m of wire. As a basic rule for the transformer size, if you want four lights with 50w bulbs then you will require a 200va transformer. If you use a 300va transformer you can fit eight lights with 35w bulbs or six with 50w bulbs. For a system up to 200va you can use the 4mm wire, over this you should use the 6mm wire. We supply stylish transformers if they are to be on show, or cheaper transformers if they are hidden away. A Wire Cable Lighting System is not suitable for dimming, your transformer will start to give you problems after a short while. LED's are also suitable for running on our Wire Lighting Systems.
